Note that we've put our own LVR events in BLACK (except for date changes). Non-region
listed in blue and are sometimes described down toward the end of the Newsletter.
Board meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday at Gaudin Porsche.
Members' Breakfasts are held at the Red Rock Country Club.

The events calendar for 2018 is beginning to take shape. We've published the activities that have been planned so far in the yellow calendar above. A couple of the dates are still tentative, as final arrangements with the venues are still in progress. So pay attention as the calendar develops.
We're always looking for good articles and nice pictures of your adventures with your Porsches. If you contribute to your Newsletter, you'll get author/photo credit as well as 50% of the salary we pay to the senior staff.
Notices from the Board:
How about some of you newer members start the year off with a Las Vegas Region name badge. They're available as described at the bottom of this Newsletter. You can't imagine just how bad some of the older members are with names, and the badges seem to help with this problem.
Now . . . . on to the Coming (or just happened) Events
The "Toys for Joy" charity event for the Sunrise Children's Hospital was a complete success yesterday (Saturday). The participants staged at the Speed Vegas Cars and Coffee, and then at about 10-o-clock formed a caravan to the Sunrise location. There, the hospital staff was overwhelmed with toys for the kids. There were an estimated 50 to 60 cars, including about 6 or 7 from the LVR.
We look forward to an even bigger event like this next year.
January 13 (Saturday): LVR After-Holiday Party at the Americana Restaurant, 6 pm
Come join fellow members of the Las Vegas Region
in our annual After-Holiday Dinner.

July 20 -29: Glacier Park Tour; The LVR summer Multi-day driving trip.
The first hotel check-in is booked for July 22 in the area of the park. It will probably take two days to get there so you might plan on leaving LV on July 20. The last hotel date booked is July 28.
This will be a trip with members of the Golden Gate Region, just as the Vancouver drive was last summer.
More info to come as details are developed.
