Notices from the Board:

New members -  The Las Vegas Region welcomes these new members to our club and look forward to seeing them at  an upcoming event:
Tony Hilder. 2017 Macan (transfer from  Intermountain)

Elections for the 2019 LVR-PCA board are coming up soon.
The nominating committee is currently looking at qualified candidates to be placed in positions on the ballot for the 2019 calendar year.

Nominations for election to the open offices must be received by October 1st. Ballots shall be distributed by November 1st. Ballots shall then be received until November 30th. Ballots received will be accepted, providing the voting individual is a member, eligible to vote, in good standing as listed on the Club roster provided by the PCA National Secretary. Ballots will be counted and election results announced at the last Executive Board meeting of the calendar year. Results will be posted in the Club newsletter soon as possible after the meeting.

In order to be able to vote in the upcoming LVRPCA Officer Elections for 2019, all members and associate members must have a valid e-mail address.

A lot of associate members do NOT have e-mail address listed with PCA National. In order to receive a ballot and vote, they must have one listed with their name. To fix this, the member must call PCA National and add an e-mail address for their associate member. Also, this is a great time for the member to check their own e-mail address and make sure it is correct.

The Executive board consists of the following positions:

1.    President
2.    Vice President
3.    Treasurer
4.    Secretary
5.    Three (3) Directors
6.    Past President

Currently, all of the positions are up for election except two Directors and the Past President.  The term for all positions is one year with the exception of the Director, which is for three years. The duties of each office are as follows:

1.   President.
a.   To preside at all meetings of membership and the Executive Board.
b.   To execute all documents and correspondence in the name of the Club as authorized
by the Executive Board or the membership.
c.    To be an authorized signer on all bank accounts of the Club and to review the Club accounts
periodically and to review all disbursements at least annually by initialing the check stubs. To participate in all decisions which cause the Club to become indebted in an amount in excess of $1,000.
d.   To inform the membership on the Club's policies and decisions reached by the Executive
Board.

2.   Vice President.
a.   To preside at meetings in the absence of the President or when ordered to do so by him.
b.   To assist the President and/or the Executive Board in any matter that he or they direct.
c.   To coordinate PCA activities with other car clubs and/or organizations.
d.   To be an authorized signer on all bank accounts of the Club.

3.   Treasurer.
a.   To keep and preserve the records and books of accounts reflecting the financial
conditions and operations of the Club.
b.   To be the primary signer on all checks on the account of the Club and any documents
which obligate the Club financially.
c.   To furnish all financial reports and/or books and statements for audit on request by
the Executive Board.

4.   Secretary.
a.   To cause to be recorded and preserved the complete and accurate minutes of the
meetings of the Executive Board and to present and to read such minutes at the request
of the President or his representatives.
b.   To cause to be published in the Club's official publication notices of all meetings
related to the Club's official matters.

5.   Director.
a.   This position is for a three-year term.
b.   To participate in Executive Board meetings and provide such information and
advice as may be appropriate.
c.   To vote on matters voted upon by the Executive Board.

If you would like to run for an office as described above, contact the Nomination Committee.
The Nomination committee consists of the following members:

A.   Scott Hatcher, Nomination Chairman scott@hatchernv.com
