OK, so what's the speed of dark? The LA Auto Show was this weekend and Porsche took the opportunity to introduce the 992 to the world. It was an exciting time for attendees as the 8th generation was unveiled.
But rather than regale you with the news of the event, you can find lots of websites with pictures and stories. Instead, we are showing the evolution of the 911 in pictures:

What Just Happened?
December 2 (Today): Member Brunch at the Red Rock Country Club
The last monthly breakfast of the year happened this morning at the Red Rock Country Club (RRCC). It was the first breakfast asking members to RSVP if they were coming. The RSVP-plan was only moderately successful. We had 32 members RSVP and close to 60 showed up. Since the room was set up to feed and seat about 40 people, the RRCC scrambled a few extra eggs (pun intended) and brought in a couple of extra tables to feed and seat the additional people. While some of us felt we were seated at the kids table, in the end the socializing and eating was great.
The RRCC does a great job in providing us with dedicated parking, a private room that is conducive to mingling and chatting with friends, and a great buffet. Beginning with the new year, the monthly breakfast will cost $20.00 per person. This covers room rental, the buffet, made-to-order omelets, sausage, bacon, potatoes, rolls, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, and tips for the staff and valet attendants (and the ubiquitous sales tax).
But, in order to continue to enjoy this venue, we have to do a better job of letting the RRCC know how many people to expect for the breakfast. The next breakfast is scheduled for January 6, 2019. Look for a special edition of the newsletter on December 30, 2018 reminding you of the coming breakfast and with a link to RSVP to Tamela Kahle of your plans to attend. With the cooperation of us all, the room and food will be sufficient to satisfy the needs of every member at the breakfast.

They can put the name of our favorite car in the proper-appearing letters like the factory uses, and have the master for the Las Vegas Region logo (the one that appears similar to the iconic "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign on Las Vegas Blvd).
