Concours d’Elegance is a French term for a vehicle show (bring and brag). Aristocrats used to bring and compare their carriages in the parks of Paris. Today, the concours is a car show, at the highest level a convention of rare, old and unbelievably expensive cars (ala Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance). At PCA events (local, regional or national) Concours are organized for members to compare their cleaned cars, brag about them and, of course, have a meal. The level of inspection, and therefore the level of cleaning can vary depending upon the class the member enters. Or, at some events, just wash and bring. The food will be somewhere close!
