LVRPCA – AZPCA – IRPCA COMBINED DAY TOUR

VALLEY OF FIRE NEVADA STATE PARK via LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA

Tuesday, March 21, 2023

The Las Vegas Region and Southern Utah Intermountain Region members are hosting our visitors from Arizona Region for a day drive. This should be an incredible experience, driving through the beautiful Lake Mead NRA culminating with a visit to the awesome Valley of Fire State Park. We expect 50 to 60 Porsches to participate!

Because of the number of cars involved it is imperative that we move smoothly through the National Park and State Park entrances. Those registered for the PCA drive must have a prepaid day pass or an annual (or lifetime) pass for EACH park. National Park passes are not accepted as Nevada SP passes. We have made arrangements with each park to pre-pay for day passes. See the registration site for pre-payment. Those passes will be distributed at the meetup and driver’s meeting that morning.

Day Pass Fees: National Parks – $25. Nevada SP -$10 for Nevada plates, $15 for out of state plates. Register and order day passes (if you do not possess an Annual or Lifetime pass for both parks).

Our organized drive will start at the Lake Mead entrance and officially end at the Valley of Fire Visitors Center. Members can then feel free to explore this scenic area by viewing from the many turnouts and maybe taking a short hike. There will be no organized lunch as there are no restaurants in the area that could accommodate our size of group. Plan to bring your own water, lunch or snacks.
