Come join us for what we hope will become a regular summer tour of the southern and central coast of California. Our tour includes a visit to the Peterson Museum and your choice of possible activities in the Cambria area including the Hearst Castle, beaches and wine country. A great time to beat the heat!

Thursday-Day One: Meet at the M Resort 7:00 departure time

Vegas to LA via 15 to Angeles Crest HWY – 66 miles of twisty mountain roads. To the junction of Hwy 210 to Santa Monica.

Hotels in the Santa Monica area

Local Hotels and chains from $250 a night (Gateway Hotel) to $450 and up a night (La Meridian) and many others to choose from in the same price range. 

I will be staying at a Hilton Property Jamaica Bay Inn Del Ray. The rooms are nice and average price for the area. It is a couple of miles from Santa Monica.

There are endless dining options in Santa Monica

Friday-Day Two: Early visit to Peterson Museum and an early afternoon departure for San Simeon/Cambria

The LVRPCA driving tour officially ends when we arrive in Cambria.

Saturday Day Three: You are on your own! You can plan from a number of activities:

• There are tours of the incredible Hearst Castle. There are a number of astonishing tours offered of the property, which are enjoyable and well worth the time.
• There is also the Paso Robles Wine Country about 30 miles from Cambria for those who might be interested in a tour of vineyards and some wine tasting.
• For those who may just want to take a day to relax, there are beautiful beaches that abound that are very inviting for a day of relaxation.

Sunday Day Four – Relaxing departure for home at your discretion, or stay a few more days!
