LVR MONTHLY BRUNCH – January

Notice the price increase. Red Rock CC has had to raise their prices due to increased expense. Neither RRCC nor our club make a profit. With a private room in a beautiful setting with Rock Star parking and our guest speakers, think of this as an event!!!

If you use this method after the deadline, the cost will be $30 per person. Payment by this method will save you $2 and the club $1.50. Once registered, there will be no refund.

Bill McConnell

Chief Operations Officer

Bill McConnell joins the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee as an accomplished leader and collaborator in the sports, event, entertainment and venue industry.   From July 2013 through September 2022 Bill was the General Manager for the City of Jacksonville’s public access sports and entertainment venues including TIAA Bank Field (home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars), VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, Prime Osborn Convention Center, Ritz Theatre and Museum, the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville and Daily’s Place Amphitheater. 

Bill was responsible for all operating, entertainment, commercial and revenue generating functions for the city-owned sports and entertainment venues delivering operational efficiencies and ensuring a superior level of customer and client service and satisfaction.  During Bill’s tenure, Jacksonville’s venues led the live event industry back through the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic as the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena hosted UFC 249 on May 9, 2020 and was the first live televised sporting event in the world following the COVID-19 shut downs.  In April 2021, Jacksonville hosted the first sold-out full capacity concert at Daily’s Place Amphitheater (Machine Gun Kelly) followed the next day by UFC 261, the first full capacity indoor sporting event since the onset of the pandemic.  These historic events were soon replicated across the globe in the return to “Live” sports and entertainment. With a full-time staff of 130, part-time staff of 800 and 3,500 event day staff, Jacksonville’s venues hosted over 1,000 events with over 2.5 million guests annually under Bill’s management.

Bill worked for the National Football League in New York from 1988 – 2013, most recently as Senior Director of Event Operations, responsible for the general management of the League’s Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, postseason and international events with oversight of stadium and game operations for the League’s premier events. As a senior member of the leadership team in the League office, Bill was entrusted to ensure that NFL-managed events were presented to the highest of standards commensurate with the NFL brand.

Bill and his wife Cheryl have four children.
