In 2005 I purchased my first Porsche from an independent Porsche mechanic in Los Gatos CA. where I was working; his personal ride, a 1983 rust colored 911SC Targa. My next-door neighbor who couldn’t stand the fact that I got this beautiful Porsche also bought a 1983 blue 911SC Targa a week later. We discovered both cars were made only a month apart. Mine needed hardly any work; his on the other hand, needed a new clutch which we replaced one weekend in his garage. You might know my neighbor from back then, he is Brad Cameron, also a member of our club. Unfortunately, I had to sell mine a few years later to help with my daughter’s nursing school tuition. I currently own a 2002 Boxster S with 26,000 miles; stock no mods. The handling is the most fun part.

My first car was a Ford Galaxy 500 convertible and my favorite non- Porsche car was a 2002 Honda S2000.

My wife Paula and I joined the PCA this past May right here in Las Vegas. My wife and I enjoy the brunches with other Porsche owners and soon to be desert drives as soon as I solve a clutch fork issue.

I have some college background. I’ve worked primarily in sales and marketing but am now happily retired.

Interesting places you have lived.

We called Sonoma County or wine country home for 30 great years bringing up our two kids. This is when it was an affordable place to live. We’ve lived in Vegas for the last 4 years.

I’m a car guy so keeping my Boxster in mint and preserved as best I can is my focus. My other interests include Guns, shooting at local ranges and Model trains.

My wife and I love to play cards but are having a hard time finding other couples who also enjoy cards. Know any??
