FROM THE PRESIDENT’S DESK – April 2025

March Sped Right Past Us!

Do not forget the April Magical Mystery Tour that Reid is heading up in April. There will be  25 cars coming from AZ, 25 from Southern Utah and 25 from Las Vegas will meet for a TBA drive and photo ops at the new Henderson Porsche Experience Center. The number of participants is strictly limited so sign up early and take a look at Reid’s email blast for more specifics.

We have a fun day coming up on April 19th that we have already sent some blasts out to gain attention. we are helping Scotch and Scissors on their Grand opening by bringing up to 25 cars to The Tivoli Village 10:00-2:00. food trucks, Music, Samples from S&S (shhhhhhh its a secret)

We will also have a Mix and mingle this month – Stay tuned and watch for the April M&M email blast!

LVRPCA media plan and focus. We are making good strides with our new marketing services and creative content. We want to reach out to broader audiences and most specifically the younger group (that is anyone younger than my 70 years) but specifically the 25-40 crowd who are noticeably absent from many of our events. they are not only part of the present but definitely the future of the Club.

So we are looking at amping up our presence in social media, monthly blogs, creating more events that appeal to a broader audience and many other exciting things so keep your eyes open there are changes on the horizon. Please encourage other Porsche people you know to get involved and to also give us ideas of what you would like to see in the way of events and drives. The club is about all of you. Not the board! Without your input I don’t believe we are truly meeting the needs of the members.

Send your suggestions to LVRPCA2025@gmail.com

As a final note please consider helping by volunteering for some of our committees chairs that are still open:

Drive MeisterOrganize all club monthly drives and other tours. Lead or sweep on drives or make sure a qualified person does for all drives. Get the insurance from PCA (easy to do), do pre-drive Blasts and make sure the post event recap gets filled out and sent in to PCA and also make sure the waivers gets properly filled out and turned in. (We are looking at going to online rather than paper shortly making it even easier).

We need our members to be involved and to experience all that the club has to offer and no better way to do it than to get involved with one of our events helping out.
