Hello fellow Porsche aficionados!!!!! My name is Mark Coronado. I was born and raised in Ventura, CA. I had a 30-year career in law enforcement (Ventura PD and Ventura County DA’s Office) and am currently a semi-retired Private Investigator working “Cold Cases” with a group of retired FBI agents and law enforcement detectives. I moved to Las Vegas in March of 2020, leaving behind the “crazy” PRC (CA) once and for all. Bought a great place up in the N/W area with a 1500 sq ft “Mancave” on the property where  my Porsche’s reside. I enjoy cars, golf, reading, working out, good food and wine, concerts and Baskin Robbins.

Speaking of Porsches – I became a Porsche “nut” when my uncle showed up at our house with a brand-new orange 1968 911 when I was a kid. He let me have it for graduation night in high school and I was sold – never made it to the dance, just drove around Hollywood all night with my girlfriend. I have owned approximately seven 911’s since then, my first being a white 1969 911 in 1978 – I wish I still had that car!!!  Seems like every time I got divorced, Porsche’s would suddenly show up in my garage – imagine that!!!

I joined Zone 8 PCA (Santa Barbara-Ventura) in 2012 after buying a 2007 991 S. I followed that up with a 2011 991 S in 2018, which I sold and bought a 2016 BMW 435 (twin-turbo). After moving to Vegas I got the “itch” again (guess I should see a doctor about that!) and located a dark grey 2014 991.1 S in Houston with 20K miles on it – just love it. I recently went out of my comfort zone and bought a dark blue 2002 Boxter S with 21K miles on it – found it on Bring a Trailer. A great little car that is fun to drive and turns on a dime – who’d a thunk it?
