Day 2 of our AZPCA fun run started with Cars & Coffee at Alpio’s at Troon. This location is a venue that can be rented out for special occasions and events. A Cars & Coffee event is held twice a month there. Alpio Barbara, the owner of the venue, is a local businessman and car enthusiast, with a dedicated love for all things Ferrari and Porsche.

The Las Vegas region tour participants arrived at the venue at approximately 7:00 am, where were we parked amongst some of the most beautiful cars in the region. This also served as the base for checking in and planning for the next two events of the tour – a fun run to Fountain Hills, AZ and the secret car collection that we were to see on Sunday, the 14^th.

Approximately 100 cars were on display at Alpio’s this particular day. Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, McClaren, and many other special marques were represented. This was our first chance to join the other regions on the tour and enjoy some coffee and pastries to warm up during the cold morning. We enjoyed viewing the cars until the 3 tour groups for the day drive were staged and headed out for the runs.
