A year ago, I purchased my first Porsche; a 2022 992 Carrera so I’m a new member to PCA having joined here in Las Vegas. I’ve been a BMW enthusiasts the last 20 years and all it took was a test drive in one of my good friend’s 911 and I was hooked. The entire feel, handling and acceleration of the car was exhilarating, and I knew immediately it was time for a change. I was also impressed with the sound from the exhaust and the pronunciation of the decibel changes with each change. I love the color which is chalk. Other features are the full moon/sunroof, Porsche logoed headrest in the seats, upgraded gas cap, premium sound system. I’ve made a few simple modifications; suspension lowering including wheel spacers to accentuate the bold wheelbase features as well as added wind deflectors to both driver and passenger side windows to reduce wind noise.

My first two cars were a 1967 & a 1968 VW Beetle. Both were very fun cars, and I spent a lot of time upgrading them with many features from custom interiors to sound systems upgrades, Porsche alloy wheels, engine performance upgrades ect. My favorite car I’d have to say is when BMW brought back the M850XDrive.The color was Barcelona Blue, and it was rated at 560 hp. Luxury and Performance all in one! but of course once I experienced the 911 I knew I was leaving the BMW Family.

As for profession, I’m currently a Hospitality Executive. In 2018 I was appointed to represent District 4 as Regent for the Nevada System of Higher Education by then Nevada State Governor Brian Sandoval where I served as a member of the governing body over the states’ eight institutions of higher learning. During my tenure I served as Vice Chair of the Cultural Diversity and Title IX Committee, Business and Facilities Committee and the Athletics Committee. In 2019 I was appointed to the City of Las Vegas Planning Commission where I continue to serve the Ward 5 constituents and most recently was unanimously voted in as Vice-Chair. I am a United States Navy Veteran having served aboard the forward deployed USS. Hewitt During Operation Desert Storm and was awarded the Southwest Asia Service Medal with a Bronze Star. I hold a Life Coach Certification, Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management as well as various Nevada State Contractor’s licensing classifications. For fun I enjoy golf, traveling, reading, watching sports and spending time with my family and friends.
