Jed, Jayne and Benay Weintraub

Our first Porsche was a 2018 Silver Cayman. Porsche is the only vehicle we have owned since moving to Las Vegas.

Currently, we own three Porsche. Jayne’s car – 2018 Cayman. Benay’s car – 2019 Macan S. My car – 2022 Panamara GTS. We previously owned a 2018 Porsche 4S. The Panamara GTS has a smooth power curve, great torque and roominess for four passengers. What’s not to like about this car with no modifications or enhancements. 

My first car was a 1983 Ford Bronco. Jayne’s first car was a 1973 Firebird. Benay’s first car was a BMW 3 series. 

My favorite non-Porsche vehicle was a Ford Excursion and Jayne’s favorite non-Porsche vehicle was an Audi 5000S. Benay’ favorite non-Porsche vehicle was a Jaguar XKR convertible because she learned to drive on it. 

We joined the Las Vegas PCA in 2019.

We enjoy being a tourist in our own city and joining the day drives. 

A little about us: Jed’s educational experience – PS 31 (Bronx, NY). Paramus High School (NJ). Rutgers University (NJ) B.A in Political Science. Member of the Football team. Played on the Defensive Line. University of Southern California (CA) M.P.A. in Judicial Administration. Jed’s work experience – Adjunct professor at the University of Memphis. Retired after 38 years with the United States Federal Judiciary. I substitute teach at The Meadows School. 

Jayne’s educational experience – PS 193 (Brooklyn, NY). Packer Collegiate Institute for Women (Brooklyn, NY). American University (Washington D.C.) B.A. Judicial Administration. University of Southern California (CA) M.P.A. in Judicial Administration Jayne’s work experience – United States District Court Eastern District of New York. College Professor. Kindergarten Teacher. 

Benay’s educational experience – St. George’s Independent School (Memphis, TN). Whittier College (CA) B.A. in Kinesiology and Nutrition. Member of the Women’s Tennis Team. Smith College (MA) M.S. in Exercise and Sport Studies. Benay’s work experience – Collegiate Tennis Coach – Millsaps College, Amherst College, UC Irvine, Caltech. 

We’ve lived in: New York, New York. Miami, Florida. San Dimas, California. Memphis, Tennessee. Dallas, Texas. Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Interests and hobbies? Peloton enthusiast. Jed’s signature cooking dish is chili on the Green Egg Smoker. Tournament director for the Unites States Tennis Association (USTA) Junior Tournaments. Volunteer for the USTA Challenger Series. Substitute Teachers at The Meadows School. On our neighborhood’s HOA Board. Member of the LVR Porsche Board. Avid reader. Art collector.
