The **42nd Annual L.A. Lit & Toy Show** is gearing up to be a highlight for Porsche enthusiasts on **February 28, 2026**, at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport (5711 W. Century Blvd., right near LAX). This legendary swap meet draws thousands of shoppers, vendors, and collectors for over 300 tables packed with vintage Porsche (especially 356 and early 911) and VW literature, toys, models, memorabilia, tools, trim pieces, posters, brochures, and more—it’s the ultimate treasure hunt for rare automobilia.
The Las Vegas PCA has a strong tradition of making the short drive (or flight) to this SoCal staple. Past years have seen solid turnouts from our club, with members often carpooling, sharing hotel rooms at the LAX Hilton (where special rates are typically available), and turning the weekend into a mini-road-trip adventure. The show’s timing—right after our own busy January events like the Phoenix tour and Death Valley day drive—makes it a perfect “next big thing” for those craving more Porsche-focused fun.
Expect several of our members to head west for the day (or the full week, with shop tours and open houses happening Thursday–Sunday). Highlights include bus tours to restoration shops, parts suppliers, and special open houses (like those from Rod Emory, Pelican Parts, and others), plus the chance to score hard-to-find items that elevate any collection. If you’re planning to go, it’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow Las Vegas PCA folks—many will be hunting the ballrooms early (Early Bird entry at 7 a.m. for $40, general at 9 a.m. for $20).
No exact headcount yet, but if history is any guide, we’ll have a respectable crew representing the desert contingent—likely a dozen or more members, vendors, and families making the trek. Check the club calendar, Facebook group, or upcoming newsletter blasts for any informal meet-up plans or carpool coordination. If you’re heading down, drop a note in the club channels—safe travels, happy hunting, and let’s bring back some cool finds for show-and-tell at Cars und Kaffee!
