COVER SHOT CONTEST

We’re excited to announce that we are now accepting photos of our members’ cars for a brand-new feature on the club website.

If you visit the webpage, you’ll notice that the current header image shows my car. That image is not there as a personal perk. Last June, we were notified that several elements of our website, including the header, needed to be brought into compliance with updated rules. Unfortunately, that meant removing the drone footage that had long been featured at the top of the page, and it had to be done immediately.

As a temporary solution, I used a photo of my own car as a placeholder while we developed something better. That “something better” is finally here.

What’s New

The header banner will now showcase a member’s car on the home page of the website for two full months at a time. Each year, six members’ cars will be featured, rotating every two months, and this tradition will continue year after year.

How to Enter

If you’d like to see your car featured in the banner, please submit the following:

  • One high-quality photo of your car
    • Car alone, with a scenic background, or with your significant other is welcome
    • Photo must be sharp, clear, and well composed
  • Good taste is required
    • No inappropriate locations, signage, or imagery
    • No CGI scenes or depictions involving damage to other vehicles or marques
  • JPEG format only
  • A brief description of your car, including:
    • Color(s)
    • Special features or modifications (completed or planned)
    • Why you chose this model

We’re looking forward to seeing the creativity, pride, and personality that make each of our cars unique. Let’s turn the homepage into a rotating celebration of our members and their machines 🚗✨

I’ll admit, there’s a certain sense of pride that comes with seeing your car featured on the home page. As a group, we represent every flavor Porsche has to offer, from Tony Mazagotti’s Porsche 904, raw, simple, and undeniably drool-worthy, to the latest and greatest versions of the Cayenne and Taycan. We’re an eclectic bunch, united by a shared pride in our Porsches, and this is a great opportunity to showcase the incredible variety that makes our group so special.

To participate send your JPEG photos to lvrpca2025@gmail.com
