From the President’s Desk,

First of all, I want to thank JP John Polnik, and Mikey Patriquin of Interpolnik LLC for their creative talents with editing and publishing our Desert Drives. Both are professionals in their fields and are LVRPCA members. How lucky can we get! I took time to view the newsletters of the 16 regions in PCA Zone 8 and we are among the best. If you do not take time to click through each monthly issue of our Desert Drives, you are totally missing out.

January started out with a bang! 

Week 1

First Lady Dana and I set out for sunny CA during the first weekend to attend the Zone 8 President’s meeting. One of the topics was for each President tell of improvements needed in their region. When it came to me, I shared our successes including the incredible guest speakers that member Lynda Colucci has invited as guests to our monthly Brunch. Past month’s guests included two speakers on Formula 1 and the CEO of the Superbowl Welcoming Committee. How good is that?

Week 2

We met up Friday morning for a very enjoyable three-day tour. The Phoenix Fun Run was a blast. If you remember AZPCA came to Las Vegas and we hosted a drive to Valley of Fire and also a reception at Gary Ackerman’s garage. Well, Phoenix returned the favor with a Tri-state, Tri-region Extravaganza. The weekend included a Cars and Coffee, a mystery drive and a visit to an incredible Secret Car Collection. Thank you AZPCA members who organized a fantastic weekend!

Week 3 – due to newsletter deadlines, our March issue will include recaps of the rest of the month. 

Technically week 4, but our Winter Gala/50^th Anniversary Dinner was held January 21^st. (I’m writing my letter to you on that morning!) More to come!

 Week 4

Maybe it was week 5 but we will call it week 4. A Mix & Mingle will take place at Padrino’s Gourmet Latin Cuisine. Thanks Randy and Martha Burba for organizing such fun events!
