Greetings to all you wonderful Porsche People!
As we close the books on 2025, what an incredible year it’s been for our Las Vegas Region
Porsche Club of America! From high-speed thrills on the track to scenic drives, heartfelt charity
work, welcoming new members, and laid-back social gatherings, our club has truly embodied
the spirit of the PCA: great cars, great roads, and even greater people. Thank you to every
member, volunteer, and supporter who made this year one to remember.
Track Days: HPDE Successes
Our High Performance Driver Education events continued to shine, with strong turnouts and
flawless execution.
- The February event sold out weeks in advance.
- September set records despite the heat, with over 100 cars.
- The November finale kept us in the black all year.
Special thanks to chairs like Brad Cameron and Brian Schmidt, our dedicated instructors,
and the countless volunteers who make these safe, exciting weekends possible. Whether you
were lapping the Charleston Peak course or finally taking your first turns (like our president!),
these events reminded us why we love these cars.
Drives and Tours
We hit the open road in style! Highlights included:
- Reid’s Magical Mystery Tour, bringing together members from Arizona, Southern Utah, and
Las Vegas for unforgettable scenery and photo ops. - The Fall Colors Tour in Utah, with stunning autumn vistas from Hurricane to Cedar City and
Duck Creek. - Multi-region drives and monthly outings that showcased our beautiful desert landscapes.
Social and Community Events
Socially, we connected like never before.
- Monthly Cars und Kaffee gatherings grew bigger and better, drawing Porsches of all eras
plus exotic guests in the Arts District. - Mix and Mingles, brunches, the New Member Picnic (with epic BBQ!), Aviators Night in the VIP
suite, and Trunk or Treat (where we delighted thousands of kids with candy from our trunks).
We also celebrated milestones, like a strong showing at Autofest for PCA’s 70th Anniversary
and events at Gaudin Porsche and the stunning new Henderson facility.
Giving back remained at our core.
- Our Volunteer Day at The Just One Project helped distribute millions of pounds of food.
- The Southern Utah Charity Car Show raised over $8,000 for aspiring mechanics.
- Partnerships like Tivoli Village and Scissors & Scotch brought smiles and strengthened
community ties.
Growth and Involvement
Membership kept climbing, with new faces joining every month and a big welcome to our Zone 8
rep at events. We welcomed younger enthusiasts, ramped up social media, and encouraged
fresh ideas to keep the club vibrant for generations to come.
None of this happens without you—our volunteers, board members, event organizers, and
attendees. A huge shoutout to everyone who stepped up, from setup crews to coordinators like
Marnie Cameron, Tony and Cindy Affronti, and so many more. As always, we’re still seeking
help with roles like Webmaster, Drive Meister, and committee chairs. If you’re ready to get
involved, reach out—we truly are a club powered by its members!
As we rev up for 2026, let’s carry this momentum forward: more drives, more track time, more
friendships, and more fun. Here’s to another year of keeping the shiny side up and the pedal
down.
Safe driving, and see you soon!
Your President,
Gary Lea
