Join us for an unforgettable five-day, four-night Porsche tour through some of the most scenic roads in the West.

Escape the Heat and Head for the Mountains

Beat the Las Vegas heat, hop into your Porsche, and enjoy an incredible driving adventure to the beautiful Lake Tahoe region.

Our home base for the first three nights will be Carson City, Nevada, followed by a final night near Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite before returning home.

Once registration closes and we have a final headcount, we will coordinate optional group meals along the way.

Tour Requirements

• Tuesday evening’s BBQ dinner is included with your registration fee.
• Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging and all other meals.
• You are welcome to choose alternate lodging locations if preferred.
• If you plan to deviate from the itinerary, please let us know in advance.

📍 DAY 1 – Monday, September 7

Las Vegas to Carson City (Approx. 420 Miles)

Meetup Time:

8:30 a.m.
Location: Skye Canyon Shopping Center

We’ll head north on US-95 (also known as the “two-lane Interstate 11”) with planned rest stops along the way before arriving in Carson City in the mid-afternoon.

Southern Utah Members

Southern Utah participants are welcome to join the group in Tonopah if that is more convenient.

Lodging

Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodations.

A no-host group dinner is planned for Monday evening.

Optional Arrival Plan

Prefer a more relaxed pace? You are welcome to depart Sunday or earlier and simply join us for the Monday evening group dinner in Carson City.

📍 DAY 2 – Tuesday, September 8

Virginia City Adventure

Meetup Time:

9:00 a.m.
Location: My Place Hotel Parking Lot

We’ll drive to historic Virginia City to explore the famous mining town and enjoy some time wandering the shops and attractions.

• Lunch on your own
• Afternoon drive to Sparks, Nevada
• BBQ dinner at the home of Peter and Jackie George (included)
• Return to Carson City at your leisure

📍 DAY 3 – Wednesday, September 9

Lake Tahoe Tour

Meetup Time:

8:00 a.m.
Location: My Place Hotel Parking Lot

This scenic drive includes:

• Sand Harbor State Park
• The east side of Lake Tahoe
• Multiple scenic viewpoints and photo stops
• Possible visits to Emerald Bay and Inspiration Point

Lunch will be in South Lake Tahoe, marking the end of the Day 3 drive.

Dinner is on your own.

📍 DAY 4 – Thursday, September 10

Mammoth Lakes Drive (Approx. 270 Miles)

Meetup Time:

8:00 a.m.
Location: My Place Hotel Parking Lot
(Check out of hotel before departure)

We’ll continue south along scenic US-395, including a drive through the beautiful June Lake Loop, before arriving in Mammoth Lakes.

Explore on Your Own

Optional sightseeing includes:

• Mammoth Scenic Loop
• Minaret Vista

Convict Lake Restaurant is highly recommended. Reservations are encouraged, as they do not accommodate large group dinners.

📍 DAY 5 – Friday, September 11

Return to Las Vegas (Approx. 320 Miles)

Meetup Time:

9:00 a.m.
Location: Juniper Springs Resort Parking Lot (across the street)

We’ll head south toward Big Pine before turning east onto SR-168.

Highlights include a stop at the:

Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest & University Research Station

From there, we’ll reconnect with US-95 South for the drive back to Las Vegas.

Want more mountain time?
Participants are welcome to extend their stay and enjoy additional days exploring the Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite areas.

A detailed itinerary will be distributed after registration closes.

While we fully intend to maintain the planned schedule and route, adjustments may become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or forest fires.
