As of March 2025, the Las Vegas Valley now has two outstanding Porsche facilities from which to choose, the original Gaudin Porsche Las Vegas located at 6800 Redwood Street, Las Vegas or the new Gaudin Porsche Henderson located at 7779 Eastgate Road, Henderson. The two locations operate independently of each other even though they are under the Gaudin umbrella of dealerships.
The Henderson facility is Porsche’s newest architectural design concept, designated as a 5th generation facility as compared to the Las Vegas location which is a 4th generation facility. The difference being, according to Paul Jarrett, General Manager of Porsche Henderson, is that Porsche Henderson is designed as a Destination Porsche Center (DPC). The primary charge of a DPC is focused on customer relationships in conjunction with great Porches! Customer service at Porsche Las Vegas has always been incredible but has been taken to a higher level at Porsche Henderson. Within Porsche Henderson, customers can [...]

- Comments Off on Driven to Make a Difference: Volunteering within the Club and Local Community Programs
By Marnie Cameron
Volunteering is often seen as a selfless act—something we do for others. But talk to anyone who’s given their time to a cause, and they’ll tell you it gives back tenfold. This is especially true when your passions intersect with purpose. One unexpected yet powerful example? Volunteering within our very own Porsche Club of America (PCA) and similar community-driven programs.
Sometimes getting started is the hardest part but there are many opportunities within the LVR Porsche Club for those interested. You can ask how to help when you attend an event, contact a board member if there is a particular event you would be interested in to see how you can help. The club board meetings are open to all members and is a great way to pass on suggestions for events and to learn about upcoming events that will need volunteers.
Our club also helps our local community programs. We held [...]

A Porsche for Under $50,000? How ‘bout a Porsche for Under $70.00?
By: Jordan Godorov
Back in 2017, Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas ran a great advertising campaign on their YouTube channel. They were offering brand new Porsches for under $50,000. This was unheard of, since most Porsche purchases at that time were hovering around $100,000 & above.
My wife and I purchased a 2017 Macan around that time and were amazed at the great value we received with our vehicle; you got a lot of car for the money.
Fast forward 8 years and the days of a new Porsche under [...]

Today members of the LVRPCA board visited The Just One Project. This organization operates under the banner of …..food bank but operates much differently.
This group headed up by CEO Brooke Neubauer and group has been operating for 21 years now. They started with just a small budget and a dream. As of today they distribute to those in need over 6 million pounds of food a year. When you see what they to accomplish that and how they work [...]

Join us Saturday, May 10th at the Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum at the Saint George Airport at 10AM followed by a pay as you go lunch at the eclectic Side Car Café less than 10 minutes from the museum.
This amazing museum features some of the first jet fighters and trainers to enter service during the Korean and subsequent Cold War, including US and Soviet models, some of which are still flown here regularly. You’ll walk around static display aircraft including a four engine Douglas C-54 Skymaster, a veteran of the Berlin Airlift in 1948 and 1949, where it also acted as a ‘candy bomber’, a practice started by a Utahan. Head up inside the C-54 to see how it completed its long career at Buffalo Airways and be amazed by the [...]

Most of us know that our local Las Vegas authorized Porsche dealership has been Gaudin Porsche since 1986. Being a Las Vegas native, I was curious to know who sold Porsches before Gaudin did. According to Gary Ackerman, the dealer principal of Gaudin Porsche, the dealer immediately before Gaudin took over the franchise was none other than Mike Salta.
Mike Salta
Salta, for those that might not be aware, was one of the country’s first “mega” car [...]

Hi, my name is Ken Hollman and I am addicted to Porsches.
This began in 1972 when I purchased by first Porsche, a 1965 912 (s/n 010), and since we had a mortgage and two small girls in our young family, we could not afford. This was my daily driver for about three years and as things do, practicality caused me to trade it for a Chevy pickup. I fought the addiction for about 25 years when another 912 came home with me. This one required renovation, most of which I did myself over the next several years. At this point, the urge to compete overwhelmed my better sense and I auto-crossed this car for a couple years. Wanting better lap times, a 914 followed me home, also requiring a complete makeover. This car became competitive in local SCCA and PCA events with my wife, Betty, earning the SSCA women’s class championship, two years running. [...]

Our first HPDE for 2025 was a resounding success. We opened registration early and offered an early bird discount. We had a tremendous response and sold out 2 weeks in advance of the event date.
We were fortunate that that the weather cooperated all weekend with temps in the high 60’s to low 70’s. Nothing better to get out and exercise your car and test your driving skills.
Due to the large turnout, we had the front entry gates opened @ 6AM so we could get participants registered early and allow them to get their cars through tech before the drivers meeting.
This and all of our prior events could not happen without the efforts of our volunteers led by Lisa Disabatino managing all aspects of registration to Ryan Raser and Andy Stahl @ tech ensured a smooth flow from driver registration to completing tech in record time.
Brian Schmidt, our Chief Driving instructor, managed [...]
