Our first High Performance Drivers Education of the year was a complete success! Absolutely perfect weather was enjoyed by all. Congratulations to Peter George on his first time as HPDE Coordinator. The two-day event was flawless. Also, a big shoutout to Brian Schmidt, Chief Driving Instructor, and Lisa DiSabatino, Registrar for their countless hours and attention to detail to make it a success. Also, thanks to the many volunteers who were invaluable in organizing over 120 participants!

MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR!

And Reception at GAUDIN PORSCHE HENDERSON!

April 12, 2025

Las Vegas Region members want to welcome our visiting AZPCA friends and have planned a short drive the morning of Saturday, April 12th. We will meet up at 8:30am at Gaudin Porsche on Redwood Steet (the “old” dealership). The itinerary will be given out at the driver’s meeting and we will depart at 8:45am. The drive will be a little unusual and include a variety of beautiful southern Nevada scenery. We plan to return to Las Vegas before noon so you can enjoy lunch on your own and then meet at the new Henderson Gaudin Porsche for the reception and tour of the new facilities.

What started as a beloved classic Porsche gathering in Las Vegas has now grown—Cars und Kaffee is officially in two cities! Now taking place simultaneously in both Las Vegas and San Francisco on the last Sunday of every month, the event continues to bring together Porsche enthusiasts for mornings filled with iconic cars, great coffee, and an unbeatable sense of community.

This past weekend, Cars und Kaffee SF braved the elements with a fantastic turnout, despite the cold weather and rising tides. A huge thank-you to everyone who made it out, as well as to @sean.manchester for his hospitality and the incredible homemade treats from @piccinocoffeebar. A special shoutout to @thepersianpillow and @artengine8, Sahand and Yuri, for stepping up as fantastic stand-in hosts!Whether you’re in Vegas or the Bay Area, Cars [...]

The great thing was that we reduced the cost this year and were able to have the revenue from the participants covered the cost and we did not have to supplement the [...]

Happy 2025

Greetings to all you beautiful Porsche people,

It is a new year and as a result a new face staring back at you from the President’s Desk. My name is Gary Lea and I have been elected as your new President.

I have to say this is a serious honor and also a bit terrifying to come in behind Reid Smith who was a phenomenal President. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the tremendous job and the amount of work that Reid gave to this club. I have been involved in a number of groups in my years and I cannot say I have ever seen a more dedicated and committed president than Reid. That is not to disparage anyone else that has held the position in this club. As a matter of fact there have been other great people who have held the office, I just [...]

The final Cars und Kaffee of 2024 was an absolute showstopper, held at our usual home base—the Good Wolf Lifestyle Co. in the Arts District of Las Vegas. In what was easily the largest turnout in our nearly seven years of hosting this monthly event, car enthusiasts and Porsches of every era filled the streets, creating a scene that felt like a holiday gift for all who attended.

The unseasonably warm and sunny weather certainly helped bring people [...]

Thanks to all of you who contributed toys at our December 8th Brunch. As you remember, we advertised the toy drive as donations to Toys for Tots. Our guest for the brunch was to be a representative from Toys for Tots, but he did not attend.

Marnie Cameron found a deserving local charity in need: “Unfortunately, after trying to contact the Toys for Tots representative, I never received a returned call. So, I reached out to the Clark County Foster Kids program who are currently running a Toy drive. They happily accepted all the toys collected and they will go to kids currently in the county foster program – about 3,700”.

We think we have found a good charity for next December!
