On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Arts District of Las Vegas transformed into a vibrant canvas of automotive artistry with the return of Cars und Kaffee. Held on the last Sunday of every month, this event—sponsored by Gaudin Classic—has earned its reputation as the go-to gathering for classic Porsche enthusiasts. But it’s more than just a car show; it’s a community-driven celebration that bridges the suburbs and the city’s creative heart.

Set against the eclectic backdrop of the Good Wolf Lifestyle Store, the February edition drew a diverse crowd, many of whom rarely venture into the Arts District. The star attractions? A stunning lineup of vintage Porsches, from air-cooled 911s to rare models preserved with the expertise of Gaudin Classic, North America’s first Porsche Classic Partner. These weren’t cars meant to roar or flaunt excess—they [...]

Meet The Members…Craig & Di Shanklin…in Southern Utah

It began with a casual visit to a relatively new Porsche dealership on East Sahara in 1990 (Gaudin Porsche), one of those little decisions you make that can turn out to have major impacts on your whole life. That purchase of a 944 S2 Cabriolet has led us to a life full of interesting people, wonderful events and fun adventures.

That initial Porsche has led to many others including currently a 718 Spyder, Spyder RS, 911 T, a Cayenne Transyberia and soon, a new Boxster GTS 4.0…three of the cars being Ruby Star…our favorite Porsche color. Through our involvement with the Porsche [...]

Toy Drive Event:

At our December brunch, our club came together for a heartwarming toy drive event aimed at spreading holiday cheer to children in need. Although our plans to work with Toys for Tots directly didn’t work out, another local group in Clark County was also in need of toys. With your generous donations, we were able to help bring joy to 3,200 foster children this past holiday season. Thank you for your incredible support in making our Toy Drive for foster kids such a success. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and commitment to making a difference in the lives of these kids. Stay tuned for more ways to get involved, and once again, thank you for spreading hope and happiness!

During our recent Winter Gala, we held a [...]

Our first High Performance Drivers Education of the year was a complete success! Absolutely perfect weather was enjoyed by all. Congratulations to Peter George on his first time as HPDE Coordinator. The two-day event was flawless. Also, a big shoutout to Brian Schmidt, Chief Driving Instructor, and Lisa DiSabatino, Registrar for their countless hours and attention to detail to make it a success. Also, thanks to the many volunteers who were invaluable in organizing over 120 participants!

What started as a beloved classic Porsche gathering in Las Vegas has now grown—Cars und Kaffee is officially in two cities! Now taking place simultaneously in both Las Vegas and San Francisco on the last Sunday of every month, the event continues to bring together Porsche enthusiasts for mornings filled with iconic cars, great coffee, and an unbeatable sense of community.

This past weekend, Cars und Kaffee SF braved the elements with a fantastic turnout, despite the cold weather and rising tides. A huge thank-you to everyone who made it out, as well as to @sean.manchester for his hospitality and the incredible homemade treats from @piccinocoffeebar. A special shoutout to @thepersianpillow and @artengine8, Sahand and Yuri, for stepping up as fantastic stand-in hosts!Whether you’re in Vegas or the Bay Area, Cars und Kaffee [...]
