The March edition of the Cars und Kaffee event at the Good Wolf Lifestyle Store in the Arts District of Las Vegas was a massive success with one of the biggest turnouts ever. The weather was fantastic, and attendees had the opportunity to admire an outstanding display of classic Porsche cars. Visitors from all over came to enjoy the vintage models on display while socializing with other car enthusiasts.

The event was made even more enjoyable by the beautiful weather, which created a perfect atmosphere for the day. Although there were no free breakfast burritos this time around, attendees were still able to indulge in coffee and snacks while admiring the beautiful cars on display.

If you missed the March edition of the Cars und Kaffee event, make sure to mark your calendar for the next gathering. You won’t want to miss out on the incredible display of classic Porsche cars and the chance to [...]

In 1971, I bought my first Porsche, a ’67 912, as that’s all I could afford.  Then in 1973, I Bought another 912, a ’69 this time.  After selling those 2 cars at about the same time, I bought a new ’74 911 Targa, which was my daily driver for almost 6 years, I still have it today (well after going thru 2 sons for a period of time with my 3rd son taking my ‘2001 Mini Cooper S!).

After selling my company in ’96, I bought a new ’96 C4S which I eventually sold about 2004.  Why I still don’t know, but after experiencing Porsche’s debut of their new Turbo model in March of 2000 at an old F1 track in Jerez, Spain (long story), I decided I had to have a Turbo.  Well this never happened!  So when we moved to Henderson after my 3-yr gig in Pittsburgh, [...]

A number of club members attended a Tech Session on detailing at Gloss It Design & Detailing Center, on March 11th. We learned about techniques and products for keeping our Porsches in Concours quality. As Rich, the Center’s owner and presenter told us “you will never be the same with caring for your car after this session”. He was right!

A special “thank you” to club members Peter and Jackie George, for organizing and providing coffee and delicious Pink Box donuts for the event.

We were the host of a multi-Region drive to the Valley of Fire State Park that included members of Arizona, Southern Utah and Las Vegas Regions on March 21St. Our plans for the drive changed rapidly on that Tuesday morning as the rainy forecast caused great concern. I had planned to be at the meetup location at 7:00am to get everything organized by the 8:00am call time. Leaving home at 6:15am, Dana and I were not aware of three major accidents on the 215 Beltway. After sitting in traffic for a couple of hours, we finally arrived at 8:35am! Luckily, we had an excellent team of club volunteers who had everything organized with cars lined up, so were able to get the paperwork done and started moving at 8:45am. A special thanks to our team for all they did!

A total of 61 cars had signed up, but only half that number actually arrived, most [...]
